Foam tiles – the most optimal option for ceiling decor. It is available in price and is easy to lay, so you can paste the ceiling yourself, without involving specialists. You can glue the tiles on concrete and on a wooden surface in any room, only for rooms with high humidity, you should choose a waterproof version of the tiles. The ceiling should be dry and clean, only large surface defects can be thrown, and the small ones will be hidden by the tile itself.
Before pasting, it is better to treat the ceiling with a deep penetration soil and let it dry well. You can place the tile diagonally or parallel relative to the walls. Typically, they begin to stick the tiles from the chandelier, so that it is on the joint of the corners of four tiles, but this is not a rule, but depends on the preference of the owner. In order for the first row to be even, you should draw a line through the entire ceiling along the alleged laying line of tiles. The first tile is glued strictly along the line, one of the corners exactly in the intended place for a chandelier, or depending on personal wishes. Having glued the first row, we proceed to the next, and glue it parallel to the first, and so on until the end of the ceiling. We cut the last row to the desired size, and finish the pasting of the ceiling.
