They blow out, pass moisture, glass beaten. It’s time to change these old windows. If you do not know how to do it, then this work may be quite difficult for you. But if you have all the necessary tools, then there should not be any special problems.
Remove the old windows. Raise the window frame and measure the window width. Remove the measurements from all the windows you want to replace. Do not hope that all windows are the same size. Draw a scheme on which the location of each window and its size will be depicted.
If you have a regular lifting window with two mobile bindings, then remove the imaginary beam of the window. Remove the bars very carefully, as they can still come in handy. E
Put a new window in the window opening and look so that it is suitable in size. There should not be any intervals between the windowsill and the external timber. If they still have them, then to remove them, repel a thin wooden bar. See that the bottom of the window coincides with the windowsill. If it does not match, then you need to measure the size of the gap, cut the wooden bar on these sizes and close it to the gap.
Distribute the window in the opening and make sure that it is worth it. To do this, it is better to use the level. Jacket the sides of the window through previously drilled holes in the jamb. Remove the sealing bar that shares the wings, also take out the upper sash. Fasten the window in the opening and replace the imaginary window beam. Carefully inspect the window both inside and outside to make sure that it is installed correctly.
